At BH Electric Co. LLC, we build and service PLC automation for manure systems that need to run safely, consistently, and with less hands-on labor. On farms, timing matters. When pumps, scrapers, transfer systems, agitators, and alarms are not working together, it can create downtime, extra cleanup, and stress. We design control systems that help your manure handling equipment operate the way it should.
Our PLC automation service starts with understanding your current setup and your daily needs. We look at the manure system layout, motor loads, pump controls, sensors, float switches, washdown demands, and any problem areas you have been dealing with. From there, we can install or upgrade control panels, program the PLC, wire field devices, and create a clear sequence of operation for each part of the system.
We work on automation for many types of agricultural manure handling equipment, including transfer pumps, lift stations, reception pits, alley scrapers, separators, mixers, and ventilation or support equipment tied into the process. Depending on the application, we can integrate motor starters, VFDs, overload protection, level controls, emergency stops, run timers, alarm notifications, and manual/auto operating modes. Our goal is to give you reliable control, better monitoring, and smoother operation from day to day.
A well-built manure system automation setup can improve efficiency and reduce avoidable issues. PLC controls can help manage start and stop sequences, prevent equipment from running dry, reduce overflow risks, and coordinate multiple devices in the right order. We also focus on serviceability. That means organized wiring, labeled components, and practical troubleshooting support so your system is easier to maintain over time.
